Gomasio: a nutritious, mineral-rich seasoning of sea salt, sesame seeds and seaweed. Great for iodine intake!
Coconut aminos: nutrient-rich fermented coconut sap, tastes just like soy sauce so a perfect substitute for those who avoid soy and are gluten-free
Avocado Mayo: this is a simple mayonnaise that is made of organic, healthy ingredients. Unlike those processed "mayos" full of unhealthy fat and additives, this is going to provide you with healthy fatty acids, protein, and tastes amazing! Can use alone or as a base for sauces.
Nutritional Yeast: This is what is typically used in vegan "cheeses" because it tastes cheesy! It is an awesome salty, cheesy-like seasoning that can be used on anything from salads, popcorn, or in many recipes. Plus it is full of B vitamins!
Kelp Noodles: These are a great, very low calorie (6 per serving) noodle made out of sea weed that you can add to your favorite asian dish! It is great warmed up with a bit of broth in a soup, thrown into a stirfry, or even in a cold salad. A great substitute to your typical rice and noodle dish.
Been pastas: There are a few different companies coming out with spaghetti and pastas that are made out of ONLY beans! Now this is not strict paleo, but it is still grain-free/gluten-free which many of us can do better with. Not only does it cut out the gluten, but it is incredibly high in protein, often up to 25 grams per servings, and high in fiber and nutrients that are typically stripped out of the processed typical pastas. The texture is amazing, and I highly recommend you try it out on your next pasta night 🙂
